·       The Quran is revealed in Arabic language. Story with lessons to be learned.
·       The step brothers of Yusuf asked their father to send him with them on a hunting trip and threw him in a dark well.
·       They told their father that Yusuf was eaten by a wolf. They brought a shirt with false blood on it.
·       One caravan kidnapped Yusuf from the well, brought him to Egypt and sold him.
·       The Egyptian who bought him was a nice man.
·       His master’s wife tried to seduce him but Allah saved him.
·       The women of the town started pointing fingers at her. She invited then to a banquet and asked Yusuf to appear before them to show his beauty. Yusuf was sent to prison.
·       Two prison inmates had dreams and asked Yusuf for interpretation.
·       King of Egypt had a dream and asked for its interpretation.
·       Yusuf’s interpretation of the King’s dream.
·       The King of Egypt heard the case of Yusuf and declared him innocent.
·       Yusuf’s appointment as King’s cabinet member.
·       Yusuf’s brothers came to Egypt to get food and grain. Yusuf asked them to bring their younger brother (Benjamin).
·       They asked their father to send Benjamin with them in order to get more grain. Yaqub’s advise to his sons.
·       Yusuf introduced himself to his brother (Benjamin) and schemed to retain him.
·       Benjamin was accused of stealing so that he could be retained.
·       Yusuf’s brothers went back and told their father about the incident of Benjamin’s stealing and retention. Their father send them back.
·       They came to Yusuf and begged for food and some charity.
·       Yusuf disclosed his identity.
·       He forgave his brothers and sent for his family.
·       Yaqub got the good news of his son Yusuf. Got his eye sight back, asked for forgiveness for his sons.
·       His family was relocated from Ken’an to Egypt. Yusuf’s prayer to live and die as a Muslim.
·       Most of the ignorant people who believe in Allah also commit shirk.
·       All the Rasools were human beings. Story of Yusuf is confirmation to previous scriptures.
